The Challenge

Cardiovascular disease requires regular blood pressure monitoring, but cuff-based devices are inconvenient, can be uncomfortable for some users and be problematic for those who experience white coat syndrome.

The BP Mate team are looking for input from the public and the NHS on how and where their device could be most useful.

Our Solution

BP Mate is a contactless, AI and RADAR-enabled device for easy, pain-free blood pressure monitoring.

Simply place the device in front of the chest for minimal input and a wide range of use cases.

Patient & Public Involvement & Engagement (PPIE)

Public engagement techniques will be used during the data collection period to understand user needs and scenarios. Feedback will be gathered to shape device development and ensure accessibility.
