Engagement Activities fund
Engage new, existing and underrepresented audiences in healthcare and medtech.
The Tay Health Tech Collaborative Fund has now launched, and the Engagement Activities Fund within it will be opening soon.
This element is designed to create new activity within the Tayside region that engages new or existing audiences in healthcare and medtech. Particularly encouraged are those activities that will engage with underrepresented groups, or bring expertise into the region. We aim to fund a range of types of activities, with a cap of £10,000 on any single proposal.

Eligibility
Priority will be given to those activities led by a civic partner of Tay Health Tech:
- BioDundee
- Dundee City Council
- Angus Council
- Dundee & Angus College
- SHARE
- Scottish Enterprise
- InnoScot Health
Activities should provide a benefit to Tayside.
Eligible Costs
- Facilitator and/or speaker costs
- Venue hire
- Catering
Applicants must assess the funding with respect to Minimum Financial Assistance and the Subsidy Control Act. Any published outputs must be Open Access.
Application Review
Eligible applications will be scored and selected by the Tay Health Tech Steering Board based on:
- Impact on, and benefit to, Tayside
- Event plan, including theme covered and proposed audience
- Value for money
- Patient & Public Involvement & Engagement (PPIE)
- Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI)
