Hazel Dempsey

Programme Lead, North of Scotland Innovation Hub

Hazel has over 30 years of varied healthcare experience which encompasses the whole sphere of health and well-being. As well as directly providing nursing care in various acute care settings, Hazel has also worked as a Public Health Practitioner leading various programmes of work to tackle health inequalities at a population level. With a passion for improvement Hazel returned to the acute hospital setting to lead on programmes of improvement work for key clinical services before taking up the role as Innovation Programme Lead in the North of Scotland in November 2022.
