Diagnosis and monitoring of oral and skin lesions often rely on subjective visual inspection. Clinicians currently have limited objective tools to support real‑time assessment, leading to variation in decision‑making and reduced confidence in diagnosis and ongoing treatment monitoring.

Our Solution

• VeraScan provides a portable, non‑invasive elastography device for assessing oral and skin lesions.
• It delivers precise, real‑time data to support more accurate diagnosis, track changes over time, and improve clinical decision‑making throughout treatment.

Patient & Public Involvement & Engagement (PPIE)

VeraScan are gathering insights from patients with skin conditions, NHS clinicians, and industry partners in dermatology and imaging. Feedback received through discussions, user needs exploration, and collaboration opportunities helps guide clinical integration, usability, and future development.
