Future Industries Specialist

Dr Ben Conway is a Future Industries Specialist under the Scaling Innovation Mission at Scottish Enterprise, with a focus on supporting companies and organisations within Life Sciences/Human Health. Prior to Scottish Enterprise, Ben has an academic background in organometallic chemistry and has held various process development roles within industrial manufacturing. These roles were in both the UK and Singapore at large multi-national companies such as Johnson Matthey (Emission Controls Technologies), Syngenta (Agrochemicals) and GSK (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients). He also has experience working in a medical device start-up as a product development research scientist at AWAK Technologies (Singapore), focusing on ultraportable dialysis devices.
