Vicky Farquhar
Project Manager
Vicky manages the project on a day-to-day basis, bringing together the partners and keeping things on track. She has a background in researcher development, managing and coordinating development programs and events. She was a Graduate School Coordinator for the Scottish Universities Physics Alliance for six years. Prior to that she worked as a researcher developer at Heriot-Watt University. Her research career involved comparing models that calculate energy use in homes of different construction types. Away from higher education, she has been Chair of the Scottish branch of the Royal Meteorological Society, student Trustee of the Heriot-Watt University Student Union, and is currently on the Blood Cancer UK Policy Panel (Scotland).
